Dissolved oxygen is an important valable in aquaculture. It plays
a critical role and is subject to variations by Salinity and Temperature
in commercial aqua operationns.

The
concentration of DO has different effects of the animals under
culture. The effects are lethal if the animals
are exposed to long
hours to DO levels under 1 ppm. The growth is reduced when the
levels are between 1-5 ppm and optimal growth and FCR are achieved
when
the levels are above 5 ppm. The negative effects of low DO levels
are reduced growth and increased susceptibility to diseases.
Its well known that aeration increases the production levels.
Shrimps
are bottom dwellers hence the DO levels at the pond bottom are
more critical. “ SUPER OXYGEN” is a slow release formulation
which effectively generates oxygen at the pond bottom, this enables
the shrimp to grow better and the aerobic also utilize the oxygen
to breakdown organic matter.
Composition:
Oxygen precursors, adsorbants and fillers in a slow release formulation.

Dosage & Application:
Shrimp: 2-3kg / Ha of 1 mt depth
Fish: 5-6 kg / Ha
Mix the required dose in dry sand and sprinkle directly into
the pond.
