The disease out breaks in aquaculture cause major economic losses
to the farmers. These outbreaks are related to the stress arising
out of environmental fluctuations like changes in salinity, temperature,
dissolved oxygen and pH etc. these physical variables are extremely
tough to control hence, for a successful culture its imperative
that the physiology of the shrimp must be strengthened. Shrimps
circulatory system is an open type and have analogues of whit blood
cells called haemocytes. The haemolymph of the crustaceans has
B 1-3 glucan binding protein that recognizes carbohydrates from
fungi. The betaglucans activate prophenol oxidase system (proPO)
in shrimps. The proPO system represents the terminal component
of complex cascade of enzymes, which function in the non self recognition
and host defence causing increases in activities such as bactericidosis,
phagocytosis and encapsulation. The glucans also activate haemolymph
clotting.
MODE
OF ACTION OF GLUCANS
IMMUTONE-C has been scientifically formulated to improve the physiology
and immune defence of the shrimp. The ingredients utilized in the
formulation have been proven scientifically. The main components
of Immutone-C are b 1-3 glucans and natural extracts, potentiated
combination of immune boosters, which have proven to be strong
non-specific immune system enhancers. It protects the animals from
unfavaourable environmental conditions.

b 1-3 glucans, vitamin B1, B2, B6, C, sulphated amino acids, organic
extractives, selenium, liver stimulants, antioxidants, osmoprotectants
and attractants.

Dosage
and Usage:
3 –5 gms per kilo of feed along with a suitable
